    • Provides leadership and supervision to the fuels staff, which includes establishing, defining and planning work assignments and performance standards;
    • Initiates and directs the development of district policy and procedures, information/instruction memoranda, workshops, etc., to provide technical guidance and direction to the Fuels Management program;
    • Responsible for planning, programming, budgeting, monitoring and tracking Fuels Management program and budget;
    • Provides coordination for the management of the Bureau’s Fuels Management and ESR activities program with other agencies, institutions, groups and individuals;
    • Implements and reviews safety standards for effectiveness in the district office Fire and Fuels Management program.

    Travel Required

    25% or less - Travel is required to attend meetings and perform work in the field.
