Duties

Help

Responsibilities may include greeting customers, and refer telephone calls, provide information regarding the facility and programs. Incumbent assists with planning, coordinating, and execution of classes, and special events. Incumbent monitors programs for a multi-station customer facility that may include, but is not limited to a computer area, gaming area, movie/TV room, reading area, bowling lanes, children’s play area, multipurpose rooms, and small snack bar. May be required to drive an 8 or 15 passenger van, keep trip records, participant counts, and custody of equipment. Distribute information. Responsible for collection and safeguarding of any funds that may be collected as a result of a fee or change. Assist in day to day cleaning of equipment and facility and other related duties as assigned.

  • Successful completion of National Agency (NACI) Background Check required.
  • A valid state driver’s license and High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain food handler’s certification, CPR and First Aid within 90 days of hire.
  • Must be willing to work nights, weekends, and holidays as this is a flexible schedule position and schedule will vary.
  • Work may require climbing in and around equipment, moving towable equipment and organization of seasonal equipment and supplies.

Qualifications

Incumbent must have one-year practical work experience including direct customer service or experience with data entry, word processing, internet, e-mail, and at least one-year experience handling cash and utilizing point of sale system. Ability to perform basic mathematical computations and communicate effectively and courtesy, using proper English both verbally and in writing. Must be able to follow verbal and written directions, and present a neat and clean appearance.

Additional information

Some positions have special requirements.  Selectee may be required to complete a one (1) year probationary period.  Participation in Direct Deposit/Electronic Fund Transfer within the first 30 days of employment is required.  We utilize E-Verify to confirm selectee’s eligibility to work in the United States.  Salary is dependent on experience and/or education.
