The CIRCA Program Manager has broad responsibility for daily clinical operations and administrative oversight of the Center for Integrated Residential Care for Addictions (CIRCA), located on the Brockton campus of VA BHS. CIRCA is a 24-bed Mental Health Residential Rehabilitation Treatment Program that provides comprehensive, evidence-based treatment services for veterans with a history of severe substance use disorders and co-occurring psychiatric problems. The program is designed to help veterans gain stability in their recovery from substance use disorders, to provide intensive treatment to address mental health problems that often underlie addictions, and to help veterans begin the process of addressing significant social issues such as homelessness and unemployment.
The responsibilities of the Program Manager are broad and complex and include, but are not limited to: 1) Designing and delivering specialized, complex, and highly professional clinical services, 2) management and supervision of a team of interdisciplinary staff, 3) development of short- and long-range programmatic goals, 4) development and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure goal attainment and, 5) outcomes monitoring using data-driven quality assurance processes. The Program Manager also has full responsibility for the oversight of the professional practice and psychosocial services provided by clinical staff assigned to the program. The incumbent ensures program services are delivered according to VACO guidelines and meet CARF and Joint Commission accreditation standards.
