    Responsibilities

    At the entry level of this position, you will:

    - Participate in the efforts to build and manage aquatic, terrestrial and spatial models; 

    - Provide customer service to Environmental Fate Effects Division scientists by gathering model-related requirements and participating in the development and standardization of models, tools, and processes in performing environmental risk assessments;

    - Serve as a junior staff scientist;

    - Assist other staff scientist with the quality control aspects of scientific documents and tools produced;

    When entering a Federal job at a grade level lower than the highest promotion potential level, you may be promoted to more complex duties and work more independently, as your career progresses.
