The Facilities Management & Services Programs Division oversees regional programs related to the management and operation of space under the jurisdiction, custody, or control of PBS, both federally-owned and leased. The Division takes direction from Central Office program offices and provides guidance to Service Centers and other regional organizations.
As the Branch Manager, the selected candidate will manage and provide oversight for the fire protection and health and safety programs and act as a touch point to the National Office and ensures the regional implementation of all national policies, practices and directives affecting the assigned program area(s). The GS-14 salary range starts at $104,821 per year.
If you are a new federal employee, your starting salary will likely be set at the Step 1 of the grade for which you are selected.
To qualify, you must meet both basic and specialized experience requirements.
BASIC REQUIREMENTS FOR ENGINEERS: A Degree in professional engineering OR a combination of college-level education, training, and/or technical experience. For specifics on qualifying education and/or experience - use the following link: Basic Requirements for Engineer Positions.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE:
In addition to the Basic Requirements listed above, you must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 level in the Federal service. Specialized experience is serving as the technical expert responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating fire protection and life and safety programs for commercial, public, or government office buildings. This experience includes:

For education completed outside the United States, also submit a valid foreign credential evaluation that substantiates possession of the required education.
