As a Student Trainee at the FTC, you will assist higher-level staff with various administrative and clerical support responsibilities, and support the offices within the FTC. As a Student Trainee, you will perform the following duties that may include, but are not limited to:
To be eligible, you must be currently enrolled or accepted for enrollment on at least a half-time basis in an accredited high school, college (including 4-year colleges/universities, community colleges, and junior colleges); professional, technical, vocational, and trade school; advanced degree programs; or other qualifying educational institution pursuing a qualifying degree or certificate. Certificate programs are defined as post-secondary education, in a qualifying educational institution, equivalent to at least one academic year of full-time study that is part of an accredited college-level, technical, trade, vocational, or business school curriculum.
In addition, High School students must provide their most recent report card to verify a Grade Point Average (GPA) of 2.0 or greater.
If selected, official transcripts/school verification form and report card must be submitted prior to establishing a start date.
Veterans' preference applies in the hiring process. In order to receive preference in hiring, you must clearly identify your claim for veterans' preference when you apply.
