    About the Position: This position is in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). Employees occupying DCIPS positions are in the Excepted Service and must adhere to U.S. Code, Title 10, as well as Department of Defense Instruction 1400.25. This position is with the US Army Intelligence & Security Command, 780th Military Intelligence Brigade responsible for carrying out and coordinating administrative matters and activities within the Headquarters.

    • Analyzes and evaluates administrative functions and recommends new or revised policies, required and motivational training, and required assignments for Administrative Support personnel
    • Interprets procedures and policies in which administrative staff seek guidance
    • Makes travel arrangements, prepares itineraries, and coordinates administrative details on command visits
    • Prepares travel reimbursement vouchers in the Defense Travel System (DTS) and necessary correspondence upon completion of trips
    • Reviews all incoming correspondence for the Command Group, coordinates required activities, and prepares consolidated reports or responses
    • Prepares tasking memorandums for action as a result of investigations and ensures the taskings are forwarded to the appropriate staff for action

    Occasional travel - You may be expected to travel up to 10% for this position.
