    This position is located in the Department of Defense Office of Inspector General (DoD OIG), Office of Dep. Insp. General for Administrative Investigations (DIG-AI), Directorate for Inv. of Senior Officials (ISO). AI is responsible for the conduct and oversight of investigations into allegations against senior officials within the DoD.

    As a Investigator (ISO), GS-1810-14, your typical work assignments may include the following:

    • Independently conducts sensitive, complex investigations into allegations involving Senior DoD Officials, and other special reviews as directed.
    • Conducts interviews, analysis, recorded testimony/sworn statements and documentary evidence for relevant facts.
    • Write reports of investigation that include analysis of evidence against a known standard to make a determination/conclusion.
    • Analyze complaints to determine credible allegations and the applicable policy, regulation, or law allegedly violated.

    Travel Required

    Occasional travel - you may be expected to travel up to 10% for this position.
