This position is open in the Seattle, WA or Portland, OR areas. If selected for this position, you will be required to reside in the Seattle, WA or Portland, OR commuting area, and telework 100% from your residence.
The following are the duties of this position at the GS-13. If you are selected at a lower grade level, you will have the opportunity to learn to perform all these duties, and will receive training to help you grow in this position.
- Conducts investigations of possible violations of federal alcohol and tobacco law.
- Conducts Certificate of Label Approval (COLA) investigations, investigations of hidden ownership and fraudulent applications, trade practice investigations, investigations of false or misleading advertising of alcoholic beverages and false or fraudulently labeled products, product integrity investigations at multi-site permittees or interrelated entities, and targeted application investigations.
- Participates in investigations with other Federal, State and local law enforcement agencies.
- Serves as an advisor to management and other functions in the Bureau on policy issues and technical matters pertaining to assigned program areas, and offers recommendations concerning long-range plans, goals and objectives.
50% or less - Travel will be required 6 to 10 nights per month.
