    A successful candidate in this position will serve as the Information System Security Officer for all Office of Chief Financial Officer information systems that support the mission.

    As an Information Technology Specialist (INFOSEC), you will:

    • Lead the creation, review, update, and on-going maintenance of System Security Plans, Contingency Plans, Configuration Management plans and other system security related artifacts.
    • Assist with security controls, vulnerabilities and threats to assigned information systems and implement solutions that improve the security posture of information systems.
    • Serve as a system and application security administrator in providing for various controls including software licensing, virus protection, user access, and audit control and monitoring.
    • Plan, document and implement privacy operational procedures to manage automated systems in an emerging IT environment.
    • Assist with security impact assessments on changes to information systems and with risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to address security gaps.

    Travel Required

    Occasional travel - 10% less overnight travel is required to attend training, meetings and/or conferences.
