    The incumbent will serve as a Human Resources Specialist in a small organization (approximately 280 employees) performing a wide variety of human resources duties.  The incumbent will perform complex work in two or more human resources areas, such as recruitment and placement, classification, retirement, compensation, employee benefits and employee relations.  The primary area of responsibility for the position is staffing and recruitment, with a primary emphasis on developing and classifying position descriptions.  At the full performance level, the incumbent will develop policy in the areas of position management and classification; and recruitment.
