The GAO is seeking experienced professionals to serve as a Sr. Biological Scientist performing the following:
In addition to the education requirement, applicants must have 1 year (52 weeks) of specialized experience at the next lower band or level equivalent to the GS-12 in the Federal Service, or comparable private/public sector experience which has equipped the applicant with the skills and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of the position. Specialized experience for this position is defined as practical experience in executing, evaluating, assessing, or auditing government, private sector, or non-profit biological/life science, epidemiology, biochemistry, biotechnology, or biomedical engineering programs.

A. Degree: biological sciences, agriculture, natural resource management, chemistry, or related disciplines appropriate to the position.
