This is a temporary merit promotion not-to-exceed 1 year. It may become permanent without further competition.
The successful candidate will perform the full range of Editorial Assistant duties for the Division of Facilities Security Branch which involves the responsibility for reviewing NUREG manuscripts to ensure compliance with established NRC and GPO publishing and printing standards (Management Directive 3.7 and NUREG-0650), and provides comprehensive customer support in the areas of publication planning and production. Assists office technical staff (author) on policies and procedures for producing agency documents.

Qualifications
In addition to the basic requirements, to qualify for this position you must have at least one year of specialized experience at the next lower grade level in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
