Manages and directs a staff of government employees and oversees contracted personnel, developing a human resources strategy and executes the full range of human resource and administrative management activities associated with the supervision of the staff. Manages operations and maintenance (O&M), and customer support for messaging and collaboration services, including, but is not limited to: support of the enterprise messaging and collaboration services, Tiers 2 and 3 technical support, electronic mail routing and delivery (simple mail transfer protocol - SMTP) services, litigation hold support and e-discovery [e.g., Freedom of Information Act (FOIA), Office of General Counsel (OGC), Office of Inspector General (OIG), Office of Congressional Affairs (OCA), and supervisor request] searches. Ensures GSA IT systems properly interface with other Government-wide IT systems, including working with a variety of tools that support agile solution development and testing methodology. Ensures development and implementation of sound risk mitigation strategies to provide for continuity of operations including the development and execution of disaster recovery plans and providing a 24X7-emergency coverage for IT systems.

The GS-14 salary range starts at $114,590.00 per year. If you are a new federal employee, your starting salary will likely be set at the Step 1 of the grade for which you are selected.
To qualify, you must have IT-related experience demonstrating EACH of the four competencies AND one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 level in the Federal service as described below:
IT SPECIALIST COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS:
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Specialized experience is experience providing cloud service support on IT projects; providing advice and guidance on cloud solution technologies, cloud computing and cloud automation; and, managing current cloud environments/services. Experience must include supporting cloud technologies, cloud computing and cloud automation; serving on or leading a team directing 24X7 operations to deliver services via Google's GSuite, an integrated suite of secure, cloud-native collaboration and productivity apps that includes Gmail, Docs, Drive, Calendar, and Meet; integrating multiple cloud services into a single cloud solution; supporting records management via preservation of email and calendar data; servicing E-discovery search requests; and supporting acquisition of technical support services.
