    You will serve as an Engineer in the Acquisition and Technology Division, EOD Department of NAVSURFWARCEN IHEODTECHDIV.

    • You will serve as a senior technologist, engineer, and technical expert for research, development, manufacture/production, deployment and operational support of a range of programs for a variety of customers.
    • You will serve as a senior technologist, engineer, and technical expert in th Counter Remote Controlled Improvised Explosive Device (CREW), Maritime Technology area with responsibilities that span "cradle-to-grave" areas that impact EOD technicians.
    • You will solves technical problems that are not covered by established procedures
    • You will provide advice and guidance on a wide range of complex issues and prepare various technical reports and oral presentations on program status and new developments.
    • You will provide expertise in the fields of radio-frequency technologies, electronics, countermeasures, electromagnetic, detection technologies, remote control systems, and/or associated fields.
    • You will develop proposals in order to bring in new business in areas that will benefit not only EOD Maritime Technology, but other areas of Joint Service Explosive Ordnance Disposal (JSEOD).

    Occasional travel - You may be expected to travel for this position.
