    About the Position: This is a Mathematics and Statistics Analyst position with US Army Acquisition Support Center, located in Fort Belvoir, VA.

    • Assists in the design, development, and implementation of mathematical, statistical, and econometric models and techniques to analyze issues associated with human capital forecasting throughout
      the Army.
    • Provides functional expertise in key areas of the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) and in database management and manipulation through analyzes of applicable data. Identifies and coordinates information requirements needed for career management of the Army Acquisition Workforce (AAW).
    • Prepares briefings presented by the senior analyst to senior Army leadership (Assistant Secretary of the Army (Acquisition, Logistics, and Technology) (ASA (ALT)), Director Acquisition Career Management (DACM), HQDA Staff, Army Command, Army Service Component Command, or Direct Reporting Units to provide the status of Army-wide acquisition workforce and corps data, requirements, and
    • Maintains currency in operations research/systems analysis methods and theories through review of technical literature, seminars, conferences, self-development, and formal training to provide guidance and support to other staff sections and subordinate organizations on matters relating to Operations Research and Systems Analysis and resolve analysis problems which transcend various
      scientific and engineering disciplines.

    25% or less - You may be expected to travel for this position up to 20% of the time.
