    You will serve as a Technical Project Manager in the WEAPONS EFFECTS & ANALYSIS BRANCH of the ENERGETIC TECHNOLOGY DIVISION of the SYSTEMS ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT of NAVSURFWARCEN IHEODTECHDIV.

    Responsibilities

    • You will lead, formulate, plan and direct systematic theoretical and analytical studies in the field of underwater explosion phenomenology and damage assessment
    • You will provide expert advice and guidance to managers, supervisors, peers, and sponsors on specific technical aspects of CFD development, and provide technical leadership to other staff within the devision.
    • You will perform project management to include budgeting, resource allocation, configuration management, design reviews, and test readiness reviews.
    • You will develop techniques and methodologies to apply hydrocodes/CFD in the analysis of underwater warhead/weapon system problems that fundamentally impact the approach of modeling and simulation.
