Plans, develops, organizes, and presents information and instruction which helps students learn subject matter and skills that contribute to their educational and social development
Provides instruction which is compatible with the school and system-wide curricular goals
Selects, adapts, or modifies teaching methods or materials for grade level(s) and subject matter
Interacts effectively with students, co-workers, and parents
Carries out non-instructional duties as assigned and/or as needed

Training Instructor - GED/HS Diplomas/Associate Degree up to the Bachelors = $12.69 per hour
Substitute - Bachelor's Degree/Higher Degree and/or Certified Teacher = $15.53 per hour
All candidates must be U.S. Citizens and reside within the local commuting area where the position is located. Local commuting area is defined as the geographic area surrounding a work site that encompasses the localities where people live and reasonably can be expected to travel back and forth daily to work based on the generally held expectations of the local community. This is a temporary, intermittent, on-call school year position for the 2018-2019 School Year.
Positions under this announcement will be filled by appointment in the Excepted Service.
The purpose of this position is to provide instructional services to students, grades Kindergarten through 12th grade, as substitute for the regular teacher.
