Summary
You will serve as a Administrative/ Technical Specialist in the Security Division, Corporate Operations Department of NAVSURFWARCEN IHEODTECHDIV.

You will serves as Special Security Officer (SSO).
You will work in a Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) and will be responsible for the day to day management, control, operation, implementation, use, and dissemination of SCI within the organization.
You will implement physical security program policies and procedures in order to ensure an adequate security posture; and conduct inventory of all classified and unclassified holdings.
You will oversee Special Security Representatives in the performance of their duties.
You will review and processe personnel investigation forms for Special Background Investigations and Updates using Joint Personnel Adjudication System and Defense Information System for Security and eQIP.
Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the next lower level pay band NT-04 (GS-11/12 equivalent) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: providing technical expertise and management oversight of information security policies and procedures within an organization.
