Duties

Help
  • You will develop and execute program plans including cost estimates for assigned complex production programs.
  • You will prepare requests for bids and submit to perspective vendors and evaluate responses from potential vendors based on capability (machines and equipment), pricing and past performance.
  • You will establish, format, and prepare weekly, monthly, and long range schedules and reports that reflect realistic production and procurement goals.
  • You will interpret technical data, policy and regulatory information to resolve issues and plan work.
  • You will brief personnel on acquisition principles, contract vehicles, and requirements based on the technical data package.

  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector supporting the coordination of production planning, cost estimates or procurement efforts of ordnance manufacturing to ensure scheduling or budgetary requirements are met.
