This is a full-time position. Technologies deployed at the Supreme Court include the use of both virtual thin client technology and some desktop systems where needed. To connect to this environment the Court has installed a facility-wide cable plant supporting several Local Area Networks. Offsite buildings either directly connect back to the internal cable plant or are connected over various wide area circuits back to the main building.

The incumbent oversees the daily operation and support of the network infrastructure and all associated access equipment. Performs technical analysis and administration tasks to include: configure, test, and install cabling as needed; install hardware/software/firmware upgrades, system patches; provide troubleshooting, fault isolation, preventive maintenance and repair/replacement of equipment, all aspects of technical support, and problem solving; administer equipment maintenance contracts and equipment inventory. Supervises staff that help accomplish tasks in areas stated above. The incumbent is expected to quickly react to and resolve problems that may impact the critical functions of the Court.
Degree in a related field preferred, work experience can be substituted for related degree.
