- Assists with planning audit work, including gaining an understanding of IT processes under audit, making risk based decisions on audit scope, identifying criteria, and creating a test plan.
- Conducts, reports, and makes recommendations in connection with audits of Smithsonian Institution Information Technology operations and those of its contractors.
- Makes oral briefings on the results of evaluations to officials within and outside the OIG.
Occasional travel - Occasional travel may be required.
