    Summary

    This position is located in the Department of Defense Office of Inspector General (DoD OIG). The incumbent of this position will work within the Office of the Deputy Inspector General of Investigations (DIG INV), Defense Criminal Investigative Service (DCIS), Internal Operations Directorate.

    As a Criminal Investigator (Program Manager - Investigative Policy), GS-1811-14, your typical work assignments may include the following:

    Responsibilities

    • Exercises oversight and prudence in the update of those policies and procedures within the assigned area of responsibility, in support of the DCIS investigative priorities.
    • Prepares and/or assists in the preparation of routine and/or special reports of correspondence for the OIG and DCIS leadership.
    • Performs various special projects as assigned relative to agency training and new initiatives relating to policy.
    • Develops understanding of DCIS and OIG organizational goals and priorities and complies with policy action officers.

    Travel Required

    25% or less - You may be expected to travel up to 25% for this position.
