This position is located in the Office of Complex Financial Institutions (OCFI), Resolution Policy Branch, Headquarters, Washington, D.C. of the FDIC and works with experts across other branches within OCFI and divisions within the FDIC to develop, assess, and communicate FDIC policy related to the resolution of systemically important financial institutions (SIFIs).Learn more about this agency
-Develop, analyze, and evaluate recovery/resolution strategies and plans
-Recommend strategies and policies regarding the completeness and review of resolution plans to assure that information is properly communicated
-Engage in wide range of activities related to SIFIs, including developing public policy or corporate policy
-Evaluate and address significant financial services policy issues related to resolution and financial stability of large financial institutions
-Research and provide technical expertise regarding statutory and regulatory guidelines in the development and assessment of policy initiatives, including interpretation of the Dodd-Frank Act, FDIC rules and regulations, and other relevant Federal and State laws
