Serves as a Lead Financial Management Analyst and a subject matter expert and makes recommendations on critical issues.
Provides input to the supervisor to assist in fair evaluation of work performance of subordinates.
Gives advice, counsel or instruction to employees on both work and administrative matters.
Participates in interviews of candidates for positions; and provides input to appointment, promotion or reassignment decisions for employees at lower grade levels
Coaches staff, identifies developmental and training needs and opportunities of employees.
Provides assistance in setting financial management goals for the Division on a monthly, annual or longer basis and establishing priorities and work plans to meet the goals.
Performs broad functions related to projecting project, financial, or performance measure status, evaluating approaches that impact the status, and working with others to effect changes.
Provides broad authoritative advice and guidance to the Division Director and assists with professional and policy actions related to financial matters within their program.
Collaborates with high level stakeholders, executives, employees, other subject matter experts and obtains input from business lines as necessary to assist in financial management work actions and carries out planned financial projects and programs.

The GS-14 salary range starts at $114,590.00 per year.
To qualify, you must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 level or higher in the Federal service. Specialized experience is providing expert level assistance and authoritative advice on financial management policies and procedures; conducting analyses (e.g., related to technical questions/issues operating plans, project reports, etc). of financial databases; and reviewing and approving financial data and analyses in management reports.
