Your application will be considered if you are a: •GSA employee must be employed in OCFO-BRZ4 ONLY! •GSA surplus or displaced employees in the local commuting area who qualify for the Career Transition Assistance Program (CTAP) You must be serving on career or career-conditional appointment, or under a noncompetitive Special Appointing Authority which provides for conversion to a permanent position in the Competitive Service.
Assists in conducting periodic analysis, and studies of systems and procedures related to PBS financial management activities to assure the accuracy, utility, and validity of the systems, procedures and reports.
Produces accurate and timely responses to inquiries concerning PBS financial management issues and related policy and procedures from Congress, OMB, customer agencies, internal GSA organizations and the public. Maintain liaison and frequently communicate with customer agencies, regional offices and PBS business lines to clarify policies and procedures concerning mutual financial matters.
Participates in the formulation of goals objectives and plans for the Financial Operations Division.

The GS-13 salary range starts at $ 96,970.00 per year.
To qualify, you must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level or higher in the Federal service. Specialized experience is experience developing or assisting in the development of financial policies and procedures, and using accounting system financial forecasting techniques to extract and analyze data in order to determine the financial viability of program initiatives.

•Ability to participate on panels, teams to develop/formulate goals, objective and plans pertaining to financial operations.
