    Reclamation is seeking a career professional looking for an opportunity to capitalize on his/her expertise as a Civil Engineer (Hydrologic). You can make a difference in the West by assisting in meeting increasing water demands while protecting the environment.

    -Conducts discharge-frequency studies of peak and volume, for small and large basins.

    -Conducts hydrologic studies and develops appropriate methodologies for use in stochastic hydrology investigations, flood frequency relationships, extreme precipitation and extreme floods, and related areas.

    -Assesses and develops complex computerized mathematical and statistical models used in hydrology.

    -Supports analyses for water resources planning studies.

    -Computes probable maximum floods and other extreme events using the hydrologic and meteorological report series to determine probable maximum precipitation estimates or using precipitation data developed within the Group.

    -Experience with project management practices to complete projects on schedule and within budgets.

    Travel Required

    Occasional travel - Travel for field work and meeting attendance.
