    Summary

    Employment with the U.S. Attorney's Office is a unique and challenging experience for the highly motivated attorney: an opportunity to litigate a broad range of cases involving significant, complex issues on behalf of the United States in federal court being litigated today. Working in the Civil Division, you will be part of a dedicated team helping to enforce Federal criminal laws that protect life, liberty and property.

    Responsibilities

    Employment with the U.S. Attorney's Office is a unique and challenging experience for the highly motivated attorney: an opportunity to autonomously litigate a broad range of cases involving significant, complex issues on behalf of the United States in federal court. Working in the Civil Division, you will be part of a dedicated team representing the United States, its agencies and employees in a wide variety of cases, including, for example, employment, tort, constitutional, FOIA, and Administrative Procedures Act Cases.

    Responsibilities will increase and assignments will become more complex as your training and experience progress.

    Initially, applications received by October 19, 2018 will be reviewed and referred. Subsequently, applications may be reviewed and referred for selection at the end of each week or as needed until the closing of the announcement on November 9, 2018.
