- Identifying and analyzing statutory, regulatory and policy issues concerning CCDF child care, child abuse and neglect, and related programs and/or criminal justice programs
- Developing regulations, program instructions, and guidelines concerning child care, child abuse and neglect, and related programs and/or criminal justice programs
- Analyzing and preparing written summaries or comments on CCDF information and data related to criminal background checks to include State Plans, child care research reports, and other sources
- Enhancing in-state and interstate access for state territory, and tribal grantees to a variety of state and federal background check components as well as state child abuse and neglect (CAN) registries and/or other information
