Implement senior leadership's strategic plan for the Financial Budgeting and Reporting service's Rental of Space (BA53) team. From the strategic plan, work with the Director to develop Financial budgeting and Reporting capability, protocols, and architecture.
Manage Financial Budgeting and Reporting deliverables for the PBS Budget Rental of Space Team. Monitor Financial Budgeting and Reporting measures and results.
Develop and recommend effective Financial Budgeting and Reporting measures.
Assist in management and the allocation of the Rental of Space Team’s Financial Budgeting and Reporting resources. Manage the sharing of Financial Budgeting and Reporting skills to support the OCFO.
Manage the Rental of Space operating program in the Financial Budgeting and Reporting Division.
Recommend and implement processes for managing Financial Budgeting and Reporting inquiries including the smooth handling of requests/inquiries from the business processes and all supplemental processes, and appropriate feedback loops.
Supervise a professional staff in the performance of budget work. Plans work to be accomplished by subordinates, sets and adjusts short-term priorities and prepares schedules for completion of work; assigns work based on priorities, selective consideration of the difficulty and requirements of assignments and the capabilities of employees; evaluates work performance of subordinates; gives advice, counsel or instruction to employees on both work and administrative matters; interviews candidates for positions in the unit.

The GS-14 base salary range starts at $103,759.00 per year. Salary will be adjusted to reflect locality once applicant has been selected.
To qualify, you must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 level or higher in the Federal service. Specialized experience must demonstrate the knowledge, skills and abilities required to perform the duties and responsibilities of this position. Examples of specialized experience are: managing the formulation, presentation, and execution of the budget for an entire agency or major component. Experience should include all or the majority of the following: developing formal budget submissions; justifying budget requests; budget forecasting; reviewing and recommending budget requests; evaluating and monitoring systems for the expenditure of Federal funds; financial management leadership; managing budget activities related to multi-source funds, including appropriated and reimbursable funds; establishing controls and making recommendations on resource allocations.

7.Knowledge of the concepts, principles, practices, laws, and regulations that apply to budget formulation and execution for nationwide PBS programs.
8.Ability to communicate both orally and in writing.
9.Knowledge of the concepts, principles, practices, statutes, laws, and regulations, policies and procedures, which apply to budget formulation and execution.
10.Ability to supervise and/or guide a team towards the successful accomplishment of assignments and delegate responsibility within assignments.
11.Skill in supervising a staff.
12.Ability to assign work, train and provide guidance to subordinates.
