The GS-13 salary range starts at $96,970.00 per year. If you are a new federal employee, your starting salary will likely be set at the Step 1 of the grade for which you are selected.
To qualify, you must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level or higher in the Federal service. Specialized experience is experience producing long and short-form video productions, live events, and multimedia packages. Experience should also include operating broadcast quality audiovisual production equipment.

Knowledge of a wide range of principles, practices, methods, and techniques for communicating information through audiovisual means including comprehensive knowledge of all phases of audiovisual production, programming, and editing from inception to completion.
Knowledge of contracting methods and procedures for producing video products as well as purchasing video production and transmission services.
Skill in planning and organizing multiple projects.
Skill in planning and directing remote and studio recordings.
Additional assessments may be used, and, if so, you will be provided with further instructions.
