The Medical Support Assistant (MSA) works collaboratively under an interdisciplinary coordinated care delivery model to provide administrative and technical support to the MHICM program and Mental Health Clinic.

The MHICM MSA schedules space, participants, time, etc. for conferences and meetings and assists in the preparation of agenda and any handout material required; records and transcribes minutes and maintains files for future references.
The MHICM MSA is responsible for Environment of Care (EOC) inspections, including updating/revisions needed to the Automated External Defibrillator (AED) Fire Extinguishers, Material Safety Data (MSD) book, Safety book and Emergency manual; also responsible for oversight on emergency lighting and exit signs. Coordinates with the COR and MHICM Coordinator for any office maintenance and cleaning issues.
The MHICM MSA acts as the MHICM Vehicle Coordinator. This includes tracking needed maintenance and arranging for maintenance or repairs on the MHICM fleet of vehicles to ensure readiness. The MHICM MSA is also responsible for collecting monthly mileage sheets and completing the monthly vehicle utilization report for the MHICM fleet of vehicles. Maintains all receipts, keys, etc. under the directive of the Fleet Manager/Assistant Fleet Manager.
The MSA participates in CARF Accreditation by providing administrative support. Assists in tracking review dates of all MHICM policies and procedures.
The MSA provides ADPAC, PIV, and Purchasing support to all MHICM staff. Provides Time-Keeper/Payroll support/back-up support to all Psychiatry T&L's, time-keepers, and staff.
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8am-430pm
