The Student Trainee (Information Technology Management)(Data Analyst), located in the Office of Management and Administration, Data Analysis Division, serves as a Student Trainee entry-level work in information technology and related duties that include, but are not limited to data analysis programming, data analysis, database administration and project management.
As a Student Trainee (Information Technology Management) (Data Analyst), you will perform the following duties:
- Provide OIG components with data analysis support.
- Assist with defining overall project requirements; plans and coordinates project design, development, and implementation; provides customer support and services; and resolves a wide range of technical data-related issues.
- Determine organization of data in the database and assigns names and definitions to the various records and fields; and oversees the security system and controls the information placed in or deleted from the database.
- Use SAS to write or modify scripts to extract, transform and load data into a data warehouse.
