Duties

Help
  • Supports the long-term planning process by reviewing and evaluating Center programs, coordinating consolidated out-year requirements, and ensuring that funding requirements are identified and justified in the Future Year Defense Plan (FYDP).
  • Supports detailed development of execution year program operating budgets and planning for the next fiscal year budget, in coordination with senior managers.
  • Establishes and implements record and management control systems and procedures for processing, recording, and analyzing division data, reports, and other information needed for full budget, contract, and overall program management.

Qualifications

At the entry GS-13 grade level: One year of specialized experience equivalent in level of difficulty and responsibility to that of the next lower grade (GS-12) within the federal service: Analyzing, evaluating, and measuring the effectiveness and efficiency of a records management program.

At the entry GS-14 grade level: One year of specialized experience equivalent in level of difficulty and responsibility to that of the next lower grade (GS-13) within the federal service, interpreting and applying regulations and policies in the field of records management.


Volunteer Experience: Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.

At the entry GS-14 grade level: Education is not substitutable for specialized experience for this grade level.

  • Travel requirement is Occasional (1-24%).
  • This is a covered position and the person selected for this position must complete an OGE Form 450, Confidential Financial Disclosure Report within 30 days of appointment pursuant to 5 CFR 2634.903(b) (DoD 5500.7).
  • Telework availability will be based upon the mission requirements and supervisory determination.
  • Selections are subject to restrictions resulting from DoD Program for Stability of Civilian Employment.
  • A two year probationary or trial period may be required.
  • This is a Drug Testing position: Individuals tentatively selected for drug testing designated positions at the Defense Information Systems Agency will be required to submit to urinalysis for illegal drugs prior to appointment or placement.
