This position is in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS) with duties in the "Professional" work category and at the Full Performance work level.
The organizational location of this position is: AFTAC, TMNE, Patrick AFB FL.
- ? Performs work in the areas of atomic and nuclear phenomena, radiation and chemistry/chemical engineering
- ? Applies knowledge of chemistry, nuclear physics and transition engineering science to independently lead, plan, conduct and monitor in house and contractor produced theoretical, computational and experimental scientific investigations and studies
- ? Collaborates with national expert physicists and nuclear/chemical engineers on the most complex or highly unusual issues; recommends and implements actions to correct deficiencies, increase efficiency and or improve capabilities
- ? Represents organization at technical discussions, conferences and symposia with DoD and other government agencies, contractors and international agencies and professional scientific societies
Occasional travel - You may be expected to travel for this position.
