Duties

Help
  • You will serve as the Branch Manager responsible for supervising, leading and managing employees of the D32 Life Cycle support Branch.
  • You will organize, implement and manage branch work to establish or achieve branch goals and plans.
  • You will plan, assign, evaluate work, or personnel performance.
  • You will set or negotiate performance and work deadlines.
  • You will serve as an expert authority in Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) logistics program management.
  • You will be responsible for executing the total logistics life cycle support.
  • You will oversee Joint Service Explosive Ordnance Disposal (JS EOD) contract support, through management of integrated logistics support managers, contracting officers representatives, and financial management analysts.

  • This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). You must be certified as a Career Field L-Life Cycle Logistics Level III (Advanced). Certification is required within 24 months of appointment.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications

Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-04 pay band or (GS-11/12 equivalent) grade level in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector leading logistics management operations that involve planning, coordinating, or evaluating logistical actions.
