Summary

You will serve as a Technical Project Manager (Administrative/Technical) (Management/Program Analyst) in the Directorates Branch, Acquisition and Technology Division, EOD Department of NAVSURFWARCEN IHEODTECHDIV.

This position is equivalent to the GS-13/14 level.
The salary range shown above represents all of the positions within the band, including high grade positions. This is not a high grade position; therefore, the salary may be limited to a GS-13 Step 10, currently $126,062.

Duties

Help
  • You will serve as the Underwater (UW) Director
  • You will analyze customer requirements in relation to Explosives Ordnance Disposal (EOD) Underwater (UW) mission, terminology and management practices
  • You will utilize expert-level knowledge of Department of Defense/Navy major weapons system acquisition processes
  • You will monitor program/project costs, scheduling, and assess risks
  • You will establish and maintain relationships with sponsors to obtain the funding/tasking needed to execute the EOD Underwater (UW) program vision
  • You will be responsible for day-to-day interactions with program sponsors regarding deliverables, funding, issues, metrics, project status, and proposals for future work

  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-4 pay band, GS-11/12 equivalent, grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: analyzing or evaluating the effectiveness of technical program operations in order to recommend changes or identify areas for improvement.
