    A successful candidate in this position will serve as the subject matter expert (SME) in managing EIA’s application development portfolio. This involves providing management and technical reviews and analyses of Agency project management plans and policies. The incumbent provides advice and assistance to other organizations in the implementation of appropriate project management principles for application development in conjunction with critical and important mission business processes within the framework of the Agency’s information technology standards and policies.

    As a Information Technology Specialist (APPSW), you will:

    • Develop and maintain the Application Development and Maintenance (ADAM) integrated project schedule
    • Serve as a technical authority on project life cycle planning including the development of project management, communication, and risk management plans
    • Manage ADAM service level agreements (SLAs), monitor performance and coordinate the diagnosis and resolution of issues impacting the organization’s ability to meet stated service goals.
    • Provide oversight and serve as the SME in the execution of agile software development projects for the program and staff offices.
