Summary

Implements strategy for MCC sponsorship opportunities and coordinate clearance process.
Manages tracking structure of domestic and international events, providing inputs and recommendations for MCC leadership participation.
Provides staffing for senior staff at domestic and international events, as needed.
Manages event concept note development process, ensuring inputs are received in a timely manner and distributed appropriately.
Oversees and implements logistical details of events as needed, including but not limited to venue confirmation, catering orders, audio/visual needs assessment, coordination with vendors (internal and external).
Manages acquisition and use of marketing materials, including banners, briefing materials, and handouts in coordination with the Public Affairs team.
Tracks and coordinates MCC-hosted events with international interagency participation, providing logistical support and ensuring collaboration among departments, especially related to communications content.
Identifies, and tracks speakers and key audiences critical to communicating MCC's strategic messages and provide logistical support as appropriate.
Monitors and evaluates outreach efforts to determine their effectiveness in reaching diverse audiences and raising awareness about the Corporation's mission and operations.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a federal security clearance

Qualifications
To qualify for pay band 4a you must meet the following:
Have at least one year of specialized experience relevant to the position duties and comparable to the MCC Pay Band 4b (GS-12) or an equivalent level which is directly related to the work of this position and which has equipped the applicant with the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position. For this position, this examples of specialized experience include: experience advising on public engagement strategies, practices and techniques; experience developing public engagement policies and procedures; experience advising on strategic communication and outreach programs; experience communicating, orally and in writing, to advocate and negotiate positions and to explain programs, functions, and activities; and, experience overseeing and coordinating details and logistics, including but not limited to venue confirmation, catering orders, audio/visual needs assessment, coordination with vendors etc., for meetings, public events, domestic or internationally. Note: This experience MUST be well documented within your resume or application.
