This is a Critical Acquisition Position (CAP) and has been designated as a Key Leadership Position which carries significant responsibility, primarily involving supervisory or managerial duties in acquisition. A 3-year tenure agreement is required for the position. The incumbent must meet the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) requirements cited below, unless a waiver is granted by the NRO Cadre Senior Acquisition Executive (SAE).
The incumbent must have a PM, COTR, or Contracting Officer Level III certification from parent service agency or be certified by the National Contracts Management Association as a Certified Professional Contracts Manager (CPCM).
