Summary

The NT-4 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to the GS-11 and GS-12.

Duties

Help
  • You will serve as the Personnel Security Program Manager and will apply comprehensive knowledge of DoD and DON administrative directives, rules, laws and regulations as they pertain to personnel security.
  • You will coordinate the Command's program for continuous evaluation of eligibility for access to classified information or assignment to sensitive duties.
  • You will ensure personnel security investigations, clearances and accesses are properly recorded.
  • You will provide security training and awareness briefings to the workforce.
  • You will prepare and present informational briefings to leadership.

  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-03 pay band (GS-9/10 equivalency) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing personnel security functions to ensure adherence to applicable security regulations and policies regarding access to classified information.

Education

SUBSTITUTION OF EDUCATION:

Successful completion of a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree.
OR
Successful completion of three full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a Ph.D. or equivalent degree.
OR

OR
A combination of experience and graduate education as described above that equates to one year of experience. The percentage of the required education plus The percentage of the required experience must equal one hundred percent.
