The incumbent is responsible for developing, producing and distributing effective print and digital marketing content and collateral for Fleet and Family Readiness(FFR) programs in collaboration with region and installation marketing specialists, program managers and contractors. This entails demonstrating excellent customer service and problem-solving skills, designing and producing a variety of print and digital marketing products, copy writing, editing for print, web and electronic media (e.g. Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and Twitter), and the operation of print production equipment such as digital press, laminators, folders, ream cutters, etc. Incumbent must keep current with trends in marketing, brand management and design, use an electronic database to manage multiple projects, priorities, schedules and deadlines, conduct market research as needed, and ensure that marketing materials are distributed in a timely manner. Incumbent may also be required to work periodically at various regional sites in addition to assigned location, participate in working groups and planning sessions and/or represent FFR at meetings or special events.
This position is also subject to background check in accordance with federal regulations.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, InDesign and Premiere Pro and Photoshop) and a minimum of three (3) years of experience in graphic design and multi-media production is required. Must have excellent customer service and written and oral communication skills. Incumbent must also have a working knowledge of integrated marketing communications (IMC), brand management, and video production and graphic design principles. A bachelor’s degree in marketing, graphic design or a related field is preferred. Experience with monthly publications and knowledge of Navy Community Programs and/or MWR is a plus.
