Specialized Experience is defined as experience providing technical advice and guidance in any segment or component of the administration of actuarial program services under Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA) and or the Internal Revenue Code (IRC). This may also include experience providing support and guidance to an actuarial resource in monitoring and implementing phases of an actuarial program.
For the GS-15 Applicants must have 52 weeks of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level the GS-14 level.
Specialized Experience is defined as experience serving as an authoritative actuarial resource in the development, implementation and/or monitoring of actuarial policies and procedures services under the Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA) and or the Internal Revenue Code (IRC). Examples of this experience might include: serving as the pricing actuary on a number of group health and welfare plans, managing a unit that performs complex actuarial calculations, valuations, or studies.
