As a Lead Equipment Specialist, you will provide nationwide support for Maintenance Control Center (MCC) customers, vendors and other Fleet personnel on a diverse range of technical, administrative and analytical functions relating to MCC program functions and operations.
This position is located in the Federal Acquisition Service (FAS) TMVCS organization in Lompoc, CA.

The GS-1670-12 salary range starts at $83,043.00 per year, if you meet the following qualifications. You must meet all qualification and eligibility requirements within 30 days of the closing date of this announcement.
To qualify, you must demonstrate one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 level of Federal service. Examples of such experience are: working as a skilled auto mechanic, auto repair part sales, service/tech writer or in other automotive fields such as: reviewing and applying technical specifications and requirements to manufacture automotive parts; analyzing automotive equipment and forecasting spare part requirements; reading and interpreting engineering change orders related to the automotive industry; analyzing or supervising automotive maintenance, repair or production operations.
