As a Project Manager, you will oversee and manage several large, complex projects that are highly visible and politically sensitive. The position will require meeting with high ranking officials and client agencies (i.e. Department of Veteran Affairs). The projects will also fall under the oversight of Congressional sub-committees, who may also desire periodic briefings on project progress.

As a Project Manager, you will perform the following duties:
The incumbent ensures major projects are successfully planned, priced, studied, formulated, launched, and delivered. The incumbent will addresses customers' planning issues for major projects including budgets management and conducts executive presentations to customer agencies. Depending on the nature of project assignment, the incumbent may be required to use expertise in pricing policy for major construction or development projects. The incumbent will also developments comprehensive and detailed projects plan, customer strategies and resources requirements.

The GS-15 salary range starts at $121,280 year. If you are a new federal employee, your starting salary will likely be set at the Step 1 of the grade for which you are selected.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE:
In addition to the Basic Requirements listed above, you must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-14 in the Federal service. Specialized experience is experience that demonstrates a comprehensive knowledge of, and experience in overseeing subordinate organizations with responsibility for overall management operations support. Experience must include advising others on the application of policies and procedures required to meet organizational and programmatic goals; advising other organizational representatives on issues that involve the application, or tailoring, of methods and procedures developed; and a technical focus in one or more of the following program areas: 1) Complex leases; 2) Client Customer Relationships; 3) Financial Management and Analysis; 4) Superior Project Management and Team Leadership; 5) Construction Management.
