Two (2) full years of progressively higher level graduate education
or
master's in library science, information services, or information management or equivalent graduate degree, e.g., LL.B or J.D. Must have knowledge of analyzing, managing and maintaining systems for processing data or solving problems by using digital computers. Must be familiar with office software products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access. Must have the ability to communicate orally and in writing. Additionally, three (3) years of progressively responsible work experience is desired which showcases the ability to perform library automations
service functions.
Highly Qualifying Criteria
Candidates meeting the below criteria will be considered first.
1. Project management experience including managing quality assurance and testing is required.
2. Strong background and experience with services to the mobile user, including use of mobile devices, library apps, mobile websites, RSS feeds and social media including Facebook and Twitter is required.
3. Experience with the integration of applications such a content management systems, digital repositories, discovery applications, single sign-on applications in a library environment is required.
4. Experience developing and configuring a SharePoint or similar environment to support library staff users and library business requirements including building reports and/or dashboards associated with data in a supported system is required.
5. Strong analytical and technical problem solving skills in dealing with complex applications and the ability to be flexible in an environment of changing priorities and technologies is required.
