As a Realty Specialist (Lease Contract Officer), you will be providing lease space for all government agencies, performing long and short range planning, space acquisition, assignment, lease administration and utilization work.
This position is located in the Public Building Service, Leasing Division, in Auburn, WA or Portland, OR. This office is responsible for assisting federal agencies in accomplishing their missions by providing lease acquisition services that deliver space timely, at the best value, and with superior workplace solutions.

The GS-13 salary range starts at $92,667.00 per year in Portland, OR and $94,618.00 per year in Auburn, WA.
To qualify for the GS-13, you must possess at least 52 weeks of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 in the Federal service.
Specialized experience is managing a wide range of large scale, complex, and/or high visibility real estate transactions for commercial office
space by researching, interpreting, and applying knowledge of real estate laws, regulations, and practices. This experience must include performing the
following:
● Lease acquisition including negotiating, preparing and executing real estate contracts;
● Conducting market surveys and real estate site inspections;
● Performing real estate project management using project management tools to manage projects from inception to closeout;
● Conducting cost analyses for real estate transactions and;
● Monitoring lease transactions and documents for procurement and financial accuracy
● Analyzing and providing technical advice and direction in the development and implementation of real estate policy
The incumbent is required to obtain and maintain an Unlimited Contracting Officers Warrant and FAC-COR Level II Certification in active status. The incumbent is also required to complete training and ensure applicable leasing certification program requirements at a Level III. Training must be kept current in accordance with leasing certification program guidelines.
