As the Regional Capital Projects Branch Chief, you will be responsible for administering, controlling, directing and managing the design and construction delivery of the capital program. This includes translating PBS and Division goals into objectives for the Branch and measuring achievement of those goals against the established benchmarks. You will confer with the Design and Construction Director about processes, staff resources, and innovative ideas to exceed goals and align business practices with corporate changes, and serve as the business authority on prospectus development, design A/E and construction management selection, pre-design and design activities, building construction and commissioning. Duties include providing an overall management system for Project Managers to work independently and assuring that project and acquisition plans are developed and implemented. Through coordination with Acquisition Solutions Branch Chief located in the Acquisition Division, you will ensure procurement process and requirements support and compliment project delivery, as well as serve as the liaison for project management issues across all regional divisions and with Central Office organizations.

The GS-14 salary range starts at $111,811 per year, if you meet the following qualifications. You must meet all qualification and eligibility requirements within 30 days of the closing date of this announcement.
To qualify, you must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 level in the Federal service. Specialized experience is defined as experience planning, directing, and management of large, complex design and construction projects.
