Summary
You will serve as a Transportation Specialist in the Systems Integration Department of NAVSURFWARCEN IHEODTECHDIV. The position generates Gun Weapon System (GWS) shipping documentation, schedules shippers and pick-ups, occasionally receipts or issue materials, reviews associated documents for accuracy, resolves schedule, shipper or financial/billing issues.
Occasional travel - You may be expected to travel approximately 15% of the time.
Relocation expenses reimbursed
Yes—Relocation expenses (i.e. PCS) or relocation incentives as described in 5 USC 5753 may be authorized in accordance with applicable travel regulations.
You will determine mode of transportation, identify most economical option.
You will observe applicable Arms, Ammunition and Explosives (AA and E) transportation requirements.
You will establish transportation priorities based on multiple customer requirements, destinations and funding.
You will use government automated business systems for logistics support management, electronic acquisition of transportation, payment processing, transportation tracking system, financial and air clearance system, and automated export.
You will research and resolve complex shipping and scheduling problems, financial issues, charges and billing statements.
You will work with Surface Deployment and Distribution Command (SDDC), Military Traffic Management Command (MTMC), Military Sea Transportation Service and Military Air Transportation Service.
Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-02 (GS-05/08 equivalent) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: using automated transportation systems for national and international shipment of ordnance materials and equipment.
Have successfully completed a master's or equivalent graduate degree in accounting, business administration, business or commercial law, commerce, economics, engineering finance, industrial management, statistics, traffic management, transportation, motor mechanics, or other fields related to the position.

Have successfully completed two full years of progressively higher graduate level education leading to a master's degree in accounting, business administration, business or commercial law, commerce, economics, engineering finance, industrial management, statistics, traffic management, transportation, motor mechanics, or other fields related to the position.
Combination of experience and graduate education as described above that equates to one year of experience. My percentage of the required education plus my percentage of the required experience equal one hundred percent.
