Summary

Serve as Information Technology (IT) Specialist at the GG-13 grade 3 level and provides specialized and technical IT services within one or more of the following areas: Cyber Operator that is assigned to the Cyber Mission Force (CMF), expert in policy and planning, security, systems analysis, applications software, and operating systems

Duties

Help
  • You will serve as a Cyber Operator subject-matter expert at Marine Cyber Warfare Group (MCCYWG).
  • You will apply extensive knowledge of the principles and methodologies of IT-related technologies and tradecraft regarding advanced software applications for network navigation, tactical forensic analysis, and collection of valuable information.
  • You will execute operations in support of full-spectrum cyberspace initiatives.
  • You will utilize signals intelligence (SIGINT), open-source research, and other data from digital networks to build target knowledge and produce technical reports.
  • You will conduct quality control of mission documents prior to dissemination.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GG/GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing the following duties: 1) Conducting system and network administration for tactical forensic analysis, vulnerability analysis, and cyber security initiatives; 2) Conducting digital network operations to identify software/hardware applications and restrictions to network environment; 3) Providing recommendations on network operations that support cyberspace programs.
